T.S. Hanna brought 6.22" of rain in 9 hours, starting at 7:45 AM Saturday morning. (For comparison, the 100-year, 12-hour storm is 6.3" in Fairfax County.) The water in Lake Audubon was so strong, a Reston resident was filmed kayaking in it!
How did the streams fare after the storm? Not one structure moved, the vegetation remained stable, and the streams showed no signs of degradation.
